About Powis Castle and Garden

Powis Castle and Garden are set among the landscape which has been transformed to include Italianate Terraces, an Orangery, fountain Garden and Woodland Walks with incredible views.

And the Edwardian Flower garden is a great place to relax and listen to the fountains from the next door garden.

And you won’t miss the 300-year old yew tree hedges as they are 30 feet tall!

As well as the gardens and house there is a shop, cafe, plant shop, coffee shop and a second hand bookstore.

The Clive Museum One is a collections of South Asian artefacts, dating from about 1600 to the 1830s.

During winter don’t miss out on the festive projections in the courtyard and twinkling lights illuminating the architecture.

Dogs allowed in the garden 1 November to 28 February – assistance dogs all year round.

Dogs are welcome outside the cafe and in the woodlands outside of the busy season.
