About Threave Garden

Threave Garden has many highlights to surprise and delight all year round.

From the 300 plus daffodils, woodland garden, rhododendrons, rock garden and formal garden.

Lots of activities are put on all year round like the Easter Egg Hunts and Halloween Trail.

The Victorian Walled Garden is still highly productive supplying the Café with fruit, herbs and vegetables.

And the Glasshouses are home to different climates and some Koi Carp!

The Threave Nature Reserve is home to varied wildlife including birds of prey, red squirrels, bat and ospreys.

As well as the gardens you can get well earned refreshments at the superb Threave Garden Café.

They have a super menu covering many dietary requirements including lunches, cakes, pastries and homemade scones.

There is indoor seating, including a dog area, and outdoor as well.

There is picnic seating and a childrens play area and of course a gift shop!

You can take a tour of the house but would recommend you call ahead to check opening times.

Threave Garden is pretty aaccessible with routes throughout the garden adapted for all ranges of mobility.

Dogs at Threave Garden

Dogs on leads are welcome in the gardens. Not in the Play Area though.
