About Ugbrooke House and Gardens
Ugbrooke House and Gardens is a 3,00 acre estate with formal gardens with parklands designed by the one and only Capability Brown.
Expect to see many delights as you wander the grounds from the fernery, walled gardens, Spanish garden, parterr, woodland and lakes.
Wisteria, Bottlebrush (Callistemon) and Hebe abound in the sheltered Courtyard reflecting the ties between the Clifford family and Australia and New Zealand.
The cream teas served in the stunning orangery are often praised so take the time to have one if you can!
Tours of the house last about an hour so worth booking.
Private tours can also be arranged – just contact the office.
