Located near Baumber, approximately five miles north of Horncastle in Lincolnshire, Walled Garden Baumber is a four-acre garden lovingly restored by Sonia and David Elton. Explore themed Chinese and Greek gardens, enjoy the lake views, browse plant sales and relax in the Potting Shed Tearoom. Afternoon teas, seasonal events and exclusive garden weddings add to its appeal.

Visitor Information for Walled Garden Baumber
Walled Garden Baumber is a 4 acre innovative garden owned by Sonia and David Elton and is located about 5 miles north of Horncastle in Lincolnshire.
Restoration started in 2006 and have been open for over 10 years to the general public.
At the garden you will find lots of paths to follow into themed areas like Chinese and Greek, a pond and just a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the planting. There are plenty of benches to sit down and contemplate the views. And expect a few surprises!
Speaking of planting you can buy plants and gifts inspired by your visit to the garden.
The Potting Shed Tearooms are open to provide refreshments with hot and cold drinks, sandwiches, salads, bakes spuds, paninis and breakfast.
I love that there are a variety of Afternoon Teas with traditional and savoury and a Children’s Afternoon Tea as well.
These need to be booked 24 hours in advance.
There are lots of events happening at various times of the year such as talks, craft fair, wedding planning, Christmas Arts & Crafts Fair, Garden re0-design and classic cars – to name just a few!
The Beach Hut is a lovely addition which you can ret out with its lake views.
You can also get married at the Walled Garden Baumber where you have the whole garden exclusively to yourselves and they allow dog friendly weddings as well!
