About Walton Hall & Gardens
Walton Hall & Gardens have something to offer all year round from Azaleas, Rhododendrons, planted beds and autumnal woodland walks.
There is the formal gardens with the focus on rhododendrons and roses, created by Lady Daresbury in the early 20th Century.
Check out the Dell in the formal gardens where you can write a note, perhaps in memory of someone, in a seeded envelope to be planted later.
The ponds are full of life with newts, terrapins, carps, frogs and toads.
And bird life is rich with Kingfishers, Owls, Jays and many small mammals as well.
There are three short-ish walks which are suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs.
The Children’s Zoo is well worth a visit with Alpacas, Goats, Peacocks, Pigs, Guinea Pigs and rescue Donkeys.
And there is a playground as well to get rid of all their energy!
Other attractions are the Cycle Museum and The Stables for all your shopping needs!
And at the Stables you will find the Heritage Cafe serving locally sourced food and Deli products!
