About Dalemain Mansion & Gardens
Dalemain Mansion & Gardens are considered to be a real ‘Plantsman’s Garden’ with some superb individual gardens and features to see.
In Spring their are snowdrops, aconites and daffodils and in June and July the 200 varieties of roses are at their best.
Styles range from the formal Elizabethan Knot Garden to the William Robinson Wild Garden.
There is a Topiary Dragon, a Stumpery, Walled Garden, and an Animal Garden – just wait until you see it!
And wildlife can be seen throughout the gardens and estate including fallow deer, red squirrels and song birds.
Try the Dalmain Loop, a five mile walk all marked out for you avoiding roads.
There are refreshments served in the Tearoom including hot and cold food and beverages.
And a shop, with of course Marmalade for sale as well as other gifts.
For those who don’t know since 2005 Dalemain has been host to the World Marmalade Awards & Festival.
I really do need to go and see that!
