Kailzie Gardens is one of the Scottish Borders’ finest garden destinations, centred around a magnificent early 19th-century walled garden.
Explore the Mackenzie and Moncur Greenhouse with its exotic fruits, an arboretum featuring champion trees and spectacular snowdrop displays, and the colourful Laburnum Arch. Woodland and wild gardens provide a peaceful contrast to the formal planting, while families can enjoy a children’s nature trail, pétanque and an 18-hole putting green.

Kailzie Gardens has so many great features for you to explore with the best known its early 19th Century walled garden.
Look out for the Mackenzie and Moncur greenhouse with its exotic fruits, the Arboretum iwth its chmion trees and snowdrop displays.
And a favourite of mine is the laburnam arch, always so colourful!
You will also the woodlands and wild gardens, offering a change of pace from the more foraml aspects of the gardens.
The Courtyard Cafe is open 10am to 4pm and offers a fine selection of drinks, homemade baking and lunches. Cashless by the way!
And a seasonal shop for all your gifts, plant sales and local produce.
There is a children’s nature trail, petanque and an 18 hole putting green – brilliant!

There is level access and the route is sloped and 20000mm wide, or more. Some display information is low, for wheelchair users. There are seats.
