About Muncaster Castle Gardens
Muncaster Castle Gardens are set in 77 acres of tranquil woodlands, cultivated areas, play areas and enchanted trails.
Expect to see masses of Bluebells and spectacular Rhododendrons with many different coours on display.
The Hawk and Owls Centre is a big attraction with flying displays from owls, falcons, eagles and even vultures!
The Weapons Hall offers a unique experience with axe throwing, archery and crossbow activities. Does cost extra but what fun!
And Mini Muncaster has plenty of attractions in the play area for the kids!
You can get refreshments at The Stables Cafe which has a good range of locally sourced food and drink catering for many types of diet.
The Stable Yard Gift Shop has a treasure trove of Muncaster branded gifts as well as local and Cumbrian artisanal merchandise.
Watch out for events and exhibitions at The Old Laundry Gallery in the Stables area.
The Castle while worth visiting for a tour is reputedly very haunted by Tom Fool, aka Thomas Skelton, spooky!
