This free to enter garden combines inspirational show gardens, growing areas, a café, local produce market and regular events. Highlights include the Canada, Pollinator, Medicinal, Contemplation and Hot & Dry gardens, with Sussex Butterfly Gardens nearby.

Visitor Information for One Garden

One Garden Brighton is located about 5 miles North from Brighton Railway Station close to the Stanmer Park Nature Reserve.

Free to enter, there is a lot to see and enjoy while you are visiting from the many Events, Butterflies, Market, Café and of course the Garden.

The Garden was designed by Dominic Cole, known for his work at the Eden Project, and contains a series of show gardens within the walled garden as well as fruit and vegetable crops.

Highlights creted to inspire you include the Canada Garden, Contemplation Garden, All Seasons Garden, Urban Garden, Pollinator Garden, hot & Dry Garden and the Medicinal Garden.

Refreshments are provided by the excellent Café which is open ever day from 9.30am to 4pm. Serving locally roasted coffee and all cakes that are made and baked on site. They also offer a range of hot and cold food from sandwiches, baguettes, poke bowls, quiche and tarts.

The Market is a one stop shop for all things quality and local with plant sales, gifts, deli items, freshly baked food, cheese and meat all from local suppliers and the Plumpton Estate. You can order online and pick up as well!

Many Events take place throughout the year from Yoga Classes, Family events Music acts, Workshops, Garden Tours and a whole lot more.

One Garden has opened the Sussex Butterfly Gardens in nearby Stanmer Park. A tropical oasis in the restored 1952 Palm house.

Oh and Dog Grooming as the net generation of dog groomers are trained at Plumpton college. Book a doggy grooming visit!

The garden is wheelchair accessible with gentle slopes, firm surfaces, and gravel paths. The Café also on one level.
