Dogs are welcome and much of the site is wheelchair accessible.

About the Walled Garden, Moreton

Get ready to have a super day out at the Walled Garden, Moreton which is only 8 Miles east of Dorchester.

As you explore the 5 acre site you will find a super Café, animal acre, a children’s play park and a range of plants for sale.

The garden is the highlight for many reopening in 2015 with lots of different areas for you to enjoy.

Take a wander down the Acer Walk or Woodland Walk and look out for the bog Garden and Rose Garden. And can you find the Secret Jungle?

There is also the Square Garden, Kitchen Garden, Wedding Garden, willow walk and many delightful borders.

The Animal Acre hosts some very interesting creatures from the pygmy goats, ferrets, rabbits, guinea pigs, pigs, chickens, finches, quails to bugs and reptiles!

The Family area has a play park with swings, slides and a sandpit. And best of all there is the free Children’s Tractor Play Area!

The Dovecote Café  is free to enter for all and serves fresh homemade food, cakes and pasties – and more!

There are lots of events taking place from Easter Egg Hunts, Animal Experiences and Christmas Activities.
